Hey,
haven't written on this journal since january.
thank you to the most recent people watching my dA. I hardly post my stuff anymore like I used to when I first started. But I will always try to keep it updated. Although a good place to follow my regular updates would be twitter - twitter.com/laurabribeiro . Honestly, on that thing I talk about everything and anything.
I also want to point out my blog that i've been updating alot since i've become more dedicated to it, using it more like a photo diary, than an actual blog sometimes. so check that out - lauraribeirophoto.blogspot.com

I have some news to tell you, I sold my Canon 1000D and now have the Canon 500D! Woohoo~!

Smoky not Smudgy 09 + website help!

Hey guys,
I haven't updatd this in a while, so sunday I went to an event I was asked to participate to be the photographer. At first I had no clue what was going to happen exactly, but in the end I was so glad I went. The experience was amazing. Seeing the expression on people's faces when they came to do a shoot with me, and seeing their pictures afterwards. Priceless.
I also met lovely lovely people, like Jana the event organizer, and a couple more helpers. Also met Ellie, who helped me and my asssistant during the shoots. She was their with her own camera, but in the end we all shared cameras and even though at one point it was kinda hectic, we enjoyed ourselves.
I'm waiting to recieve a couple pics from her, but this is how the day basically went:

Brazil - near future photoshoots

First of all I want to thank all supporting my work! It means alot to me

So here I am packing packing packing, last minute packing always causes us stress!
Brazil should be fun, haven't been there since 2004, I miss my family so much!
Nearly got everything done, I'm actually feeling quite nervous but everything will be fine!
Keep watching! Lots of stuff will be updated whilst I'm there
